What is pickled garlic?
Answer– Pickled garlic is raw garlic that is put in a jar. Liquid that is made up of vinegar, water, herbs and spices are added to the jar. The Garlic Lady uses a cold liquid, and the garlic is NOT cooked.
How do you make your products so crispy?
Answer– The Garlic Lady packs in small batches and use a cold packing process that ensures high quality, healthy, fresh and crispy products.
What is cold packing?
Cold processing is used in canning the garlic, olives and vegetables. Cold processing packages the produce raw to ensure you receive the freshest and healthiest products available. The health benefits are not cooked out, so consumers receive the nutritional value Mother Nature intended, along with mouth-watering good taste. This allows you to enjoy a crisp and crunchy product!
Why do I not hear a pop when the jars are opened?
In cold packing the lids are steamed closed. You will never hear a 'pop' when opening The Garlic Lady garlic, olives or vegetables. Hot packing is the method which produces a popping noise when the lid is removed.
What is the process you use in canning your green olives?
Answer – All of The Garlic Lady green olives are soaked in my secret brine for 9 months before hand stuffing them with garlic, cheese or peppers. The Special Martini Olives are soaked in Vermouth.
My husband has been fighting high blood pressure for years. My neighbor insists that my husband should eat more garlic. Will this really help?
Answer – I am not a medical professional, but I can tell you a little bit about what they say. Dr. F.G. Piotrowski of the University of Geneva reported one of the most highly regarded tests on the effectiveness of garlic lowering blood pressure. He wrote that garlic is able to inflate blood vessels, making it highly effective in reducing blood pressure. Click

My mother drinks both your pickled garlic juice and green olive juice. Is this common?
Answer – Oh yes, I have a lot of customers that drink the garlic and green olive juice (I also drink it). It tastes great, and is good for you! You can also add a little virgin olive oil and some seasoning to either garlic or olive juices and you will have a very nice salad dressing or marinade.
I have been told that garlic and vinegar combined is very healthy. Have you heard this?
Answer – Yes I have. In many clinical studies reported in medical journals, doctors and researchers have praised garlic and vinegar preventative and therapeutic properties. One benefit of garlic and vinegar is that they can significantly counteract the effect of harmful toxins on the body.
Other than eating pickled garlic out of the jar, what can you do with it?
Answer – Great question! I am asked this question all of the time. Pickled garlic is great sliced up in green salads, potato salad, tuna salad, meat loaf, omelets… the list goes on. You might want to check out my

I am on a low-carb diet and would like to know how many carbs your pickled garlic and green olives have?
Answer– The pickled garlic has 9 grams of carbs per serving. A serving is about 12 pieces of garlic (14 grams). My green olives have less than 1 gram of carbs per serving with the exception of my Bleu Cheese stuffed green olives. The Bleu Cheese stuffed olives have 1 gram of carbs per serving. A serving is 2 or 3 (14 grams) of my green olives.
How can you remove garlic odor from your breath?
Answer– My husband will tell you that I don’t worry about garlic breath. Of course, I am The Garlic Lady. Back to your question. You can try chewing on some fresh parsley. It will take the edge off of garlic breath. Parsley is also good for you. Another solution is to rinse your mouth with lemon juice mixed in a glass of water.
